Micheal Ryder:

Mike is currently doing correspondence studying from Briercrest Bible College for a degree in Bachelors of Christian Ministry. He led the young adults group called GENnet at Willow Park Church in Kelowna, British Columbia for two years and now currently organizes small groups and connects newcomers for the new young adults church service at Willow Park Church called Pursuit. Once obtaining his degree he hopes to become a young adults pastor.

Curtis Werstuik

Curtis is going to school to become a Medical Laboratory Technologist. On the side, he has been involved in youth and young adult ministries for 5 years starting in grade 11 as a youth leader at Kelowna Christian Center and is now a part of Willow Park’s Pursuit serving and leading when possible. He has no bible college schooling, but loves to dive into the Word of God in order to know his God better and how to live for him in every area of his life.

Christopher Verdon

Christopher is enrolled at UBC-O and is in the process of completing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also completed a discipleship training school with Youth With A Mission Global Gateway in early 2013. Chris has been a leader of a small group since July, 2013 and hopes for many more opportunities to teach/talk about God. He loves to spend time 1 on 1 with God and considers his relationship with God to be the most important part of his life.

Wade Holmes

Wade is currently working at an out of school club called Thrive Out of School Care in the down town area Kelowna. He has been involved in Children and Youth Ministries for many years and has work as an intern children’s pastor at Willow Park Church and a Youth Pastor at Upper Liard Free Church in Watson Lake Yukon. He has a big heart for camp ministries, along with ministries focused on children and families. Wade looks at his walk with God as the biggest adventure one can go one, and he loves every moment of it.
